Airedale International Air Conditioning Limited designs and manufactures
a complete range of air conditioning products for a global market.
Airedale International Air Conditioning Limited is part of the Modine
group of companies. For over 30 years, Airedale has been a pioneer and
industry leader in the design and manufacture of air conditioning systems.
Airedale’s 25,000 m² production facility and £2 million
Test Centre in Leeds, UK, designs and manufactures a wide range of chillers,
close control and comfort products. The company also has manufacturing
facilities in the USA, South Africa and China and employs 450 worldwide.
Modine Manufacturing Company, based in Wisconsin, USA, has been a global
leader in thermal management solutions for almost 90 years. Modine designs,
tests and manufactures heat transfer products for a wide range of applications
and markets. The company employs 8,700 people worldwide at 36 facilities
located in North America, Europe and Asia.

Global Manufacturing
Airedale products are sold to more than fifty countries world-wide, delivering
quality products through a network of well-established business partners
and distributors. The principal research and development functions for
its global manufacturing facilities in USA, South Africa and China, are
carried out in the UK at Airedale’s state of the art Test Centre,
and modified to satisfy the demands of major international markets.
R&D promotes Energy Efficiency
Airedale products are developed with skill and care to ensure that their
impact on the environment is kept to a minimum. ‘Green’ issues
such as carbon reduction technology now play a major role in all Airedale
Research and Development programmes. Particular attention is paid to the
energy efficiency of all Airedale products to ensure that running costs
and environmental effects are minimised. Airedale Comfort, Close Control
and Chiller products are assembled using the very best materials and components
available, and extensively tested before despatch.
Manufacturing Expertise and Test Facility
Delivering air conditioning solutions to a wide variety of discerning
customers, with diverse requirements and problems, demands the highest
levels of investment in manufacturing technology, systems and skilled
engineers. Airedale’s UK plant and cutting-edge Test Centre feature
the very best facilities. Designed and built to exceed stringent international
standards, the Airedale Test Centre is capable of testing a complete range
of air conditioning equipment with cooling and heating capacities from
2kW to 120kW and chillers up to 1MW, the climate temperature being fully
controllable anywhere from –5°C to +55°C.
